Abstract

1. A paper feed device for printers, in which a paper web (10) is fed from a feed roll (11) over at least one guide rod (3) and a printing bar (5) to a take-up roll (6) as a result of the rotary motion of the latter, characterised in that, in order to increase the feed path of the paper web (10), at one side edge thereof at one end region of the guide rod (3), a spacer (8) is arranged over which the paper web is led ; and that at the opposite end of the guide rod (3), a bearing edge (7) is provided against which the paper web is pressed when fed past it.
