Abstract

1. Bottle crate made of plastic with several adjacently arranged, upwardly open compartments (1) for receiving one bottle (6) each, with resilient centring members (4) arranged on the compartment walls (5) to engage the bottles with push fit, the centring members (4) narrowing the compartments (1) and forming abutting and introducing ramps (7) for the bottles (6), inclined inwardly towards the compartment bottom (3), characterized in that the centring members (4) extend from close to the compartment bottoms (3), possibly separate from them, to the lower edge of the label, so that the labels cannot come into contact with the centring members (4) during insertion of the bottles (6), and the centring members (4) for each bottle (6) surrounded by four compartment walls (5) consist of at least two diametrically opposed wind-like webs, moulded on the wall in the centre region, which support a bottle (6) placed in the compartment (1) in the radial direction.
