Abstract

A wall break segment cover hinge employs a roller (48) per segment (10,12) whose roller axis (50) coincides with the hinge (14) axis (24) and the first hinge tab (20) fixer sector (26) has cover leaves (30) at both axial ends (28) to project vertically in the same direction. Thus the leaves externally close off the wedge space when the segments (10,12) swivel round the hinge axis (26). The hinge axis (24) itself consists of a tubular sleeve (42) fixed to the first hinge tab (20) and fixed between the two cover leaves (30), and the axis (5) of the respective roller (48) has a bearing sector (52) adapted in diameter to the clear inside diameter of the sleeve (42). Roller bearing sector (54) for the respective roller should have a diameter larger than that of bearing sector (52).
