Abstract

The burner has a burner surface (1) with gas exit openings with at least one cooling channel (3) near the gas exit openings on the gas supply side and a plastics tray-shaped gas-air mixing passage (5) on the gas supply side. The gas-air mixing passage has a gas-air entry area (14), a gas-air mixing area (15) and a chamber (16), which is arranged on the gas supply side.
