Abstract

The invention relates to an electrically conductive plate (10), especially a gas-tight and/or liquid-tight plate, that is optionally structured on one side, consisting of a plastic with carbon filling material, the filling material portion especially ranging between 70 % by weight to 95 % by weight. According to the invention, in order for said plate to exhibit high shape stability while using a simple production method, wherein said plate meets stringent requirements in terms of specific electrical resistance and temperature resistance, the plate (10) is manufactured in a hot pressing method, the filling material consists of carbon particles and 0 to 20 % reinforcement fibers and the plate exhibits a specific electrical resistance of less than 500 x 10<-6> OMEGA m parallel to the direction of pressing.
