Abstract

Air under pressure and sand travel from a sand reservoir (11) through a conical funnel (24) to an ejection nozzle (13). An ice crusher (14) receives water (21) through a heated entry (28) and refrigerant through a second entry (22). The ice is crushed by a series of motor driven (20) axles and bars (16,18) and delivered to the air/sand mixture through an aperture (23). Additional refrigerant is added (23) near the nozzle.
