Abstract

A pushrod (10) in a recess in the closing lever (6) can be moved by the handle (7) via an interposed crank gear. The far end of the pushrod slides into a hole (20) in the twistbar connector (4) or again in a fixed bearing pin (5) on the connector (4). The pushrod has a slider (17) bearing on the rim of an excentric slot in the circular plate (18) so the handle can turn the plate and so push the rod (10) along. The pin (5) has three 90 degrees spaced openings (20) so the center opening continues the pushrod axis and is turned towards this in the locking position. The guides in the closing lever recess prevent the pushrod escaping.
