Abstract

The control handle (26) of the actuator (1) is fitted on a square shaft (25) carrying the pinion (24) of the rack-and-pinion drive. The rack (27) is curved and slides in a system of grooves (16) in the housing. The rack may be installed in one of two alternative positions. The top of the rack may be connected to a sliding catch (11) by a connecting rod (32) and a hinged link (29). The sliding catch moves in a guide groove (10) in the housing (2).
