Abstract

The inventive shower head comprises an outer housing (6) in which a switchable valve, which is provided with a valve body (5) and with a closing body (9) that can be displaced therein, is accommodated. One end of the closing body (9) is arranged underneath a membrane (2) that can be pressed inwards. This end of the closing body is arranged in such a way that, in order to change the type of stream, the closing body (9) can be displaced from a first valve seat (16) to a second valve seat (17) by pressing the membrane (2) inwards against the repelling force of a spring (7). Restoring means are provided with which the closing body (9) can be moved from a valve seat (17) to a second valve seat (16). The membrane (2) is arranged in a rotating cover (1) and the closing body (9) can be moved from a valve seat (16, 17) toward the other valve seat (16, 17) by turning the cover (1).
