Abstract

The invention relates to a method for obtaining a fibrous product containing Ca from process water containing a residual or recovered material, especially process water from paper production. The process water containing the residual or recovered material is fed to a fibre screening stage for separating off a fibrous fraction from the residual or recovered material. The aim of the invention is to provide a fibrous product that is easy and economical to produce and that can be used for very different purposes. To this end, the invention provides that the underflow of the process water containing the residual or recovered material is dewatered after the fibre screening stage and then dried, resulting in a fibrous product containing Ca, which can be used as such or as a starting material for producing other substances. After drying, the fibrous product containing the Ca is granulated or pelleted.
