Abstract
1. A measuring arrangement at a capacitive protective fence for determining the self-capacitive component or variation therein, as the case may be, provided with long connection lines formed by coaxial cables between a central control and the electrode wires, characterised in that an outward line (HL) is provided by means of which the respective electrode wires (E1 to En) are supplied, via the primary winding (PW1 to PWn) of a respective transformer (Ü1 to Ün), with transmitting energy of a transmitte, (SEN) arranged in the central control (Z), and that a number of return lines (RL1 to RLn) corresponding to the number (n) of electrode wires (E1 to En) are provided, which connect the respective secondary windings (SW1 to SWn) of the transformers (Ü1 to Ün) to respective oscillatory circuits (SK1 to SKn) in the central control (Z) on which the voltage (U1 to Un) proportional to the respective self-capacitive component (CE1 to CEn) is measured, where the screen of the outward and return lines (HL and RL1 to RLn) is connected 10 earth potential, and a capacitor (C) in the respective oscillatory circuit (SK) has a capacitance substantially greater than the cable capacitance (CKR) of the respective return lines (RL1 to RLn).
