Abstract
1. A current transformer comprising a secondary winding which is applied to an iron core (1) and having at least two partial windings (5, 6) connected in series or parallel and arranged in the region (3) of the iron core (1) adjacent an interference conductor (17) present in the vicinity and one in the region (2) of the iron core (1) remote from the interference conductor (17), characterised by the following features : a) the core (1) possesses air gaps (14, 15), b) at least one air gap (14, 15) is arranged in each region (2, 3) of the iron core (1) and c) the at least one air gap (15) in the region (3) adjacent the interference conductor (17) is longer than that in the region (2) remote from the interference conductor (17).
