Abstract

The chair back comprises a frame over which an elastic fabric (5) is stretched. This consists of two vertical side members (1) connected by a lower (6) and upper cross-bar. The lower cross-bar is attached to the side members at the level of the lumbar vertebrae and the back is attached to a mounting (2) by a dorsokinetically flexible joint.
