The method involves an operating position calculator (BPR) in which two image construction modules (BAM1,BAM2) to which state data (i1) is submitted to create independent symbol images made of pixels, at least module transferring the symbol images to a display module (AZM) at which the color value of each pixel of the symbol image is explicitly identified for display on a screen (BS). The image construction modules refer to templates stored in memories (SPC1,SPC2). An Independent claim is included for an operating position calculator to carry out the state display method.
