Abstract

1. Standardised container for transportation by land or sea in the form of an extended frame which can be stacked, which is provided with crane eyelets, which is open on both its longitudinal sides and which is provided with upper and lower longitudinal and transverse struts (10-16, 18-24) and vertical supports (26-32), characterised in that the longitudinal and transverse struts and supports from the edges of a box-shaped frame, in that additional longitudinal struts (52, 54, 56) and supports (58, 60, 62) are provided in the middle longitudinal plane of the container and additional central longitudinal struts (34, 36, 54) and transverse struts (38, 40, 48) in at least one intermediate plane between the upper and lower longitudinal and transverse struts and in that the container is provided in the plane of the lower longitudinal struts (14, 16, 56) and in the intermediate plane or intermediate planes with guides (64) running at right angles to its longitudinal direction between the longitudinal struts for taking up individual containers, pallets etc.
