Abstract

1. Steam apparatus for spot cleaning fabrics, comprising a power unit provided with electric control means for the distribution of steam and compressed air, a gun connected to said unit by a flexible coupling containing at least one pipe for the ejection of steam or of compressed air and by an electric cable for the control of distribution means by control devices associated with the gun, characterised in that the power supply means are incorporated in a generation unit (1) which is portable and which contains an electric boiler (10) to produce steam, a compressor (20) having an electric motor (24) for producing compressed air, and the said means for the distribution of steam and compressed air (16, 25).
