Abstract

The stapler comprises a magazine with a longitudinally moving compartment and a staples outlet (5) with a vertically positioned guide element (10). The staple (8) is moved by a pushing element (9) against the guide element (10) and pushed downwards into the pages to be stapled by the staple driver (4). A longitudinally movable cover (11) is positioned above the row of staples (8), keeping the staple driver (4) pressed against the guide element (10).
