Abstract

Fuel filter comprises an inlet for contaminated fuel, an outlet for clean fuel, a filter element, a pressure-regulating valve, and an outlet for fuel flowing through the pressure-regulating valve. The pressure-regulating valve is a module consisting of a bushing (23) inserted with a sealing element in an opening. The bushing has an opening (24) closed with a spring-loaded ball (27). The spring is a leaf spring (25) fixed directly on the bushing and the ball is arranged between the spring arm of the leaf spring and the bushing. <??>Preferred Features: The pressure-regulating valve is arranged on an end plate of the filter element. The bushing is inserted with a sealing element in an opening in the end plate.
