Abstract

The viscous material metering feed has a body (2) with a reservoir for the material mounted above its central section. The rear end of the body is closed by a plug (5) through which passes a shaft (8) carrying a piston (9) at its inner end. The shaft also has a spacer (10) with a shoulder (11) around which is mounted a circlip (12), and a small piston (15) engaging a cylindrical sleeve (14). The chamber wall (3) has a circular groove (21) adjacent the reservoir passage (4). The opposite end of the housing has a conical cap (23) in which is a diaphragm (30) forming a flow control valve.
