Abstract

The headlamp has a bearer element (8) bounding on the reflector in the light output direction and a lens attached to the bearer element on the other side from the reflector. The focal point of this lens is near the reflector's second focal point. The bearer element has an axially extending annular flange (13) with a peripheral stop (14) pointing radially inwards for direct contact with the lens. A ring with yoke-shaped cross-section engages a peripheral fixing bed formed by the flange and the front of the lens (4) with an insertion lug. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a headlamp.
