Abstract

The housing (12) is suitable for latching to the housing of another plug connector, adapter or similar and has an axial groove (14) in which a housing section of a complementary plug connector or adapter can be inserted and a latching arm (16) with a protrusion (18) for latching to the inserted section. The groove is recessed to accept both the housing section and a mounting plate (20) and the latching arm is arranged between an outer groove section (14') and an inner groove section (14''). An independent claim is also included for an electrical plug connector with an inventive housing.
