Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a board that has a surface that is similar to that of an aged board. The inventive method is characterized by drying the board in a drying chamber at a temperature of from 60 DEG C to 95 DEG C immediately after the board has been sawed, the surface of the board being pressed at a pressure of from 50 kPa to 110 kPa. Once the surface of the wood that is chosen to be the visible surface has dried, it is sanded with a flexible sanding tool.
