Abstract

The ratchet pawl device comprises a base (2), attachable to one of the flaps to be brought together and having lateral sides (5), delimiting an area of engagement for a serrated strap (6) connected to a lever associable with the other of the flaps to be brought together. Also provided being an oscillable body (10) hinged at a middle portion thereof to the lateral sides (5) and having a first toothed end (12) engageable with the serrated strap (6), and a second end (19) actuatable for disengaging the first toothed end (12) from the serrated strap (6). Lugs (20) project laterally from the oscillable body (10) and are engageable in seats (25) formed in the lateral sides (5) to prevent undesired oscillation of the oscillable body (10).
