Abstract

1. Portable modular assembly allowing for the construction of verandahs and/or double glazing, characterised in that it is composed of corresponding elements with corresponding holes (X) cut or pre-cut, said elements consisting of : a) A first U-shaped section of which one side (B1) is grooved and open so as to hold a corner window-pane (C1) ; b) Angle components which form corner struts (A1 and A2) intended to accommodate and hold in position the said sections ; c) A second section (B2) serving as a support intended for placement in the facade, where it can be fitted into a casing formed by the corner components (A1 or A2) and can be screwed to it using the corresponding holes ; d) A second component (A3) serving as a bridge between the two angle components (A1 and A2) which slides in between them, which is U-shaped, and which forms with the other two components (A1 and A2) a plinth, all three resting on the ground or on a window-sill ; these components also form an awning, all three (A1, A2, A3) being repeated inverted to form the top of the module ; e) The sections are fixed at a given level in order to adjust the height of the module, then mounted on to component (A3) at the chosen width, the assembly being fixed together using the cut or pre-cut holes (X) ; f) Other pre-cut orifices (AA, BB and BB') are provided in component (A3) at the centre of the three sides of the U, these orifices allowing for intakes of air through the underside (AA), on the facade (BB), and on the interior side (BB') ; g) A flat component (CC) provided with a pre-cut orifice seals up the components (A1, A2, A3) thus forming a hollow box in which the air let into (BB) from the outside passes through to the interior via (BB') or vice versa, thus airing the verandah ; h) A primary ventilation duct, shaped with a bend, is provided independently of the previous air circulation, and this duct is connected to the pre-cut orifice (AA') and fetches air from inside the modular component at its base, then another angled duct, connected to orifice (AA') of the box at the top of said modular component, recovers the heated air and conducts it to a store chamber.
