Abstract

1. Egg box of especially transparent plastic material of the type comprising a body (2) on which there downwardly protrude at least two longitudinal rows of upwardly open convergent cells (4) and there upwardly protrude downwardly open lateral points (6, 9) situated along each longitudinal and lateral edge of the said body (2), a lid (3) in the form of hallow supported by the lateral points (6a, 6b, 6c, 9), means (30) for closure of the lid (3) on the body (2), and security means (11, 27, 40), the body (2) being made by thermo-shaping from a plane sheet (1), characterized in that the security means are constituted by small nipples (11) formed on the external faces (10) of the lateral points (6b) provided on the longitudinal edge (7b) of the body (2) opposite to the lid (3), by small orifices (27) provided on the forward wall (24) of the lid (3) into which the small nipples (11) penetrate at the moment of closure of the lid (3) upon the body (2) and by an adhesive guarantee strip (40) applied at the samt time over the small nipples (11) and over the external face of the forward wall (24) to make the lid (3) and the body (2) fast with the another, and in that the assembly of the said body (2) and of the said lid (3) is produced by thermo-shaping in one single operation.
