Abstract

1. A covering frame assembled of metal profile sections (1) and connecting elements (3, 5), each comprising an angular component (3) for fixing said covering frame to a wooden frame (2) that bounds a door opening or a window opening, the first leg (3a) of each angular component (3) being equipped with a hole (3b) for a screw, the hole (3b) having its axis (3c) form an angle between 55 degrees and 85 degrees with said first leg (3a), and an angle between 10 degrees and 40 degrees with the bisectrix of the angle of said angular component, characterized in that the profile sections comprise each a cornered C-profile having a clear height h, a clear depth t, and a length dimensions of its free legs (1c and 1e) as measured on the inside of the C-profile, and an opening arranged to face the wooden frame (2) and to have a height of h-2s, furthermore in that the second leg (3d) of each angular component is arranged to carry on its outer side a sliding member (5) arranged to fit into the C-profile of the profile section and provided with an elastic support member (6), the width b of the sliding member (5) being but immaterially smaller than the height h-2s of the opening of the C-profile, said sliding member (5) being arranged to comprise a rigid component (5a) connected with said second angular component leg (3d) by way of a neck (5b) and having a thickness d corresponding to the depth t of the C-slot, at least at its end facing the edge (3e) of the connecting element, as well as a height h' larger than h-s, and in that the elastic support member (6) is dimensioned to have it extend in its unloaded state - together with the sliding member - over a total height larger than the clear height h of the C-profile, and to have the total height of the elastic support member (6) together with the sliding member (5) - in the loaded state - reduceable to a value h and below, to make the entire sliding member (5) elastically supported within the C-profile.
