Abstract

1. Trigger mechanism with rear-set trigger for hand firearms, in which there are arranged in a rotatable manner in a casing (1) a trigger sear (2), which in its one rotated position locks the cocked striking pin and in its other rotated position is pressed by the uncocked striking pin, a trigger rod (3), which in its one rotated position supports the trigger sear (2) and thereby holds it in its other rotated position which locks the striking pin, a trigger (4) which, when actuated in the trigger direction, rotates the trigger rod (3) into its other rotated position which releases the trigger sear (2), and a trigger cocking lever (5) which can be cocked by the trigger (4) when the latter is actuated against the trigger direction, wherein the trigger (4), when actuated against the trigger direction, contacts the trigger cocking lever (5), swings the latter into the cocked position and holds it in an unstable equilibrium, and wherein a securing element (6) is provided which, in its securing position, locks the trigger rod (3) against a releasing of the trigger sear (2) and hence prevents the actuation of the trigger (4) in the trigger direction, characterised in that the trigger sear (2), in its rotated position which locks the cocked striking pin, is loaded by a spring (8) and in its other rotated position stops the trigger cocking lever (5) in its uncocked rotated position, in that the securing element (6) is a slide, and in that the trigger (4) has a projection (41) which, when the trigger cocking lever (5) is cocked and the securing element (6) is in its securing position, contacts the securing element (6) in such a way that the securing element (6) is locked against being displaced into the released position.
