Abstract

Device comprises cutting disks (29) with recesses (33) that have a relatively narrow overlap. This ensures that for small cutter roller diameter (of order 5 mm) and relatively hard plastic disks good particle cutting is obtained. A collector box can be used as a transport container so that the particles can be kept without impurities and sent for recycling. An Independent claim is made for a system for disposal and recycling of plastic data disks.
