Abstract
Device for high pressure deformation comprises a tool divided along a separating plane into two tool halves, and a tool support having for each tool half at least one tool support component (5, 6). Each tool support component consists of a positioning plate (9, 9'), at least one piston (10, 10') standing on the positioning plate, and a piston holding plate (11, 11'). The piston holding plate has a recess (12) with a greater diameter than that of the piston. A fluid is arranged in a hollow chamber produced in the recess when the piston protrudes into the recess. Preferred Features: The piston lies with its side wall on a sealing ring (13) arranged in the side wall of the recess.
