Abstract
Producing a catalyst structure for gas treatment, comprising an assembly of catalyst-coated metal sheets in which at least one of each pair of adjacent sheets is corrugated and adjacent sheets are bonded together in uncoated areas, comprises providing the sheets with coated and uncoated areas before they are assembled and bonding the uncoated areas together. An independent claim is also included for a catalyst structure for gas treatment comprising an assembly of catalyst-coated metal sheets in which at least one of each pair of adjacent sheets is corrugated and the corrugation peaks have uncoated areas with contact zones through which the sheets are bonded together, where the contact zones are smaller than the corresponding uncoated areas.
