Abstract

Horizontal-chamber coking furnaces, in particular for coking coal, have, on both narrow sides, removable coking furnace doors on the inside of which there is mounted a coking plate which is held at a specified distance from the door body by means of spacers. The coking plate comprises individual screens which slightly overlap one another and which are detachably joined to the spacers. The detachable joint is achieved for example by two bores which merge into one another on one side of each screen and an elongated slot, which perforates the edge, on the other side and by a stud formed on the spacer having collar and neck matched to the bores and elongated slot. <IMAGE>
