Abstract

1. Safety installation for saving objects situated behind the installation from rockfalls, avalanches or other dangers connected with mechanical actions on the safety installation, comprising at least one wire rope net and supporting means for propping or suspending the wire rope net, characterized in that the wire rope net (1; A-M) consists at least partly of wire rope (7, 8; 30, 31) having in its core at least one insulated electrical conductor (15, 16), the electrical conductor or conductors being connected to an electrical warning device (4; 35) responding and actuating an alarm system (5; 36) already below the loading limit of the whole installation in response to sudden changes, caused by mechanical actions, of the electrical properties of the line-system formed by the electrical conductor or conductors within the wire rope net or nets.
