Abstract

The facing plate consists of a mineral material and has inner pores. The plate has a thickness which reduces in the direction from a first edge (12) to the opposite-lying second edge (14), creating a wedge-shaped cross section. On the first edge the plate has a thickness of between 30 and 70mm, and on the second edge a thickness of between 3 and 7mm. In plan the facing plate is rectangular with a length of preferably 80-120cm in one direction, and a length of preferably 60-90cm in the other direction. An independent claim is included for a room in a building with a facing plate in at least corner.
