Abstract
In a papermaking process a fibrous suspension is sandwiched between outer (5) and inner (4) moving de-watering sieve belts (4, 5), as they progress back-to back from a first drum (13) to a second forming drum (7). At a point approx. mid-way between the two drums, the belts are tangentially deflected towards the inner belt (4). The tangential deflection is effected by a wiper blade (16). Also claimed is a commensurate papermaking process
