Abstract

The device has locking element (3), arranged partly inside the sleeve (1,2), which can be swiveled during the fixed position of the sleeve about the longitudinal axis (A) of the device in such a way that it can be changed from fixed position to the moving position. The locking element and the first sleeve can be coupled with each other by one or more projections (3a) and one or more guidance (1g). The projections are arranged at the outer side of the guidance whereby the displacement of first and second sleeve relative to each other is enabled along the longitudinal axis. An independent claim is also included for the furniture e.g. office furniture.
