Abstract

The invention provides a modular door (82) formed from a plurality of inter-linked elements, comprising two end elements (84,86), at least one of which is provided with integral hinge-attachment means (14), and two series of inter-linked panels (52a,52b), a first series forming the inner facing major surface of the door and a second series forming the outer facing major surface of the door, wherein the panels are further provided with connector means along at least one of the major surfaces thereof, the arrangement being such that each of the panels can be installed in its respective series with the connector means facing outwards for the attachment of facing panels thereto, or can be installed in its respective series with the connector means facing inwards for attachment to a reinforcing element inserted between the two series of inter-linked panels and interconnecting the same via the connector means. <IMAGE>
