Abstract

Flat bed printing machine comprises a printing table (10) and a pressing unit (12) for the medium being printed having guide rails (30, 32) parallel to and on both sides of the table. The pressing unit guides a pressing rail (24) over the table. Preferred Features: The pressing rail has a brush or a roller for pressing the medium being printed. The pressing rail can be lowered onto and lifted from the table using a lifting unit. The printing table has vacuum holes (18) which open onto the surface of the pressing table.
