Abstract

1. A vapour escape hood or vapour filter hood for fixing in or between top cupboards of unit or built-in kitchen furniture, consisting of a housing from the side walls of which there project holding means causing a widening of the housing, characterised by the following features : - the holding means are constructed in the form of a frame (5, 5') open towards the back of the housing, - in the installed state, the housing (1) is pushed with its lefthand-side and righthand-side frame (5, 5') on or over separate wall members (7, 7') each secured to a wall of the top cupboards and is braced to this wall member, - the two wall members (7, 7') form the lateral outer closing walls for the housing (1).
