Abstract

1. Pre-scored, one-piece blank consisting of foldable material such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or the like, for a cup or stack tray which tray is essentially rectangular or square in plan, - having an undivided bottom wall (1), - having an apertured wall spaced from and arranged essentially parallel to said bottom wall and subdivided into two wall portions (2), for receiving containers, e.g. yogurt or milk cups in a position-securing condition, - the bottom wall and the apertured wall portions being hingedly connected with each other via two, tray sidewalls (3) opposing each other, - and having two-leg angled, pre-punched corner supports or posts (6), which are arranged in the corner areas of the erected blank and project above the plane of the apertured wall, and which corner supports are in part an integral portion (61) of the tray sidewalls and as such are hingedly connected to the undivided bottom wall, the foldable leg portions (62) of the supports being connectable with other portions of the tray such that the tray is then capable of bearing, characterized in that the corner supports (6) a) are provided with lateral graduations (7) on their free ends, corresponding recesses (8) being provided on the blank in area of the hinging connection or foot area of the corner supports, respectively, and b) are pre-punched in such a way and their legs (61, 62) are scored such with respect to each other that said supports are slightly inclined inwardly in the erected tray (Fig. 2).
