Abstract

The invention relates to a degassing device for the cooling fluid of a thermal engine, particularly for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one lower compartment (7) into which a part of the cooling fluid is introduced by means of a supply line (8) and at least one upper compartment (6) into which another part of said fluid is introduced by means of another supply line (5). The above is characterised in that the two compartments (6) and (7) have a cylindrical form, each of the compartments (6) and (7) having a different diameter with (6) having a smaller diameter, called the inner diameter and extending into the inside of compartment (7) of larger diameter, called the external diameter.
