Abstract
1. Heating installation for ingots, consisting of an especially inductively operated heat treatment zone, a transport device running through the heat treatment zone and consisting of walking beams and fixed beams, with which the ingots, which form a row, may be transported stepwise, and a feeding device, especially a slide or a roller table, located before the transport device, characterized in that there is arranged between the transport device (5, 6) and the feeding device (1, 2, 3) a finish table (4) for at least two ingots (Ai+n-1 , Ai+n-2 ) abutting in the direction of transport, which finish table moves in and opposite to the direction of transport and from which the ingots (Ai+n-1 ) may be lifted by means of the walking beam (6), and in that the drives (4", 7, 8) for the return stroke of the finish table (4) and the conveying step of the walking beams (6) are coordinated in such a way that the return stroke takes place before the conveying step.
