Abstract

The method involves providing a colored layer facing heating elements exhibiting highest activation temperature. A middle and another colored layer are provided with a middle activation temperature, and a third colored layer is turned away from heating elements exhibiting a lowest activation temperature. Each of the heating elements is charged for the formation of a color point with an energy pulse (Wg, Wm, Wc) for achieving the activation temperatures and is charged with an energy pulse (Em, Ec) for holding the activation temperature.
