Abstract
The method involves using a satellite positioning device (1) firmly mounted at a wagon. Movement tracing and disposition of the wagon are carried out by a control centre, which consists of a communication and application server and a data bank. The entire route of the wagon from the departure location to the destination is specified by a reference transportation plan stored in a data bank. The time/path information in form of geocordinates, time point of measurement and the sensor-configuration are provided to the device. An independent claim is also included for a device for autonomous movement tracing and disposition of wagon by a satellite positioning device fixed at the wagon.
