Abstract

The invention relates to a lamp for temporary arrangement for the illumination of a work or other area. The lamp may be secured in a stable manner for emitting light in any given direction, it comprises an attachment strap which may be secured releasably in at least two locations on the lamp. By a preferred embodiment the strap (6) is elastic and mounted on the rear of the lamp. The strap (6) has a number of holes (5) for receiving a hook (4) or the like which may be provided on the front of the lamp or elsewhere such as eg on a handle or a base for the lamp.
