Abstract

The device (1) has a cylindrical knob (10) movable between actuated and neutral positions where the knob permits and avoids rotation of a pivot (5) with respect to a case (2), respectively. A retractable key ejection mechanism has an axle (12) co-operated with the pivot to guide the pivot in rotation. A helical spring (13) integrates the pivot in rotation, when the knob is in actuated position. A bottom wall (3) has an assembling orifice (14) through which the knob, spring and the axle are passed, during a mechanism assembling, after the pivot is inserted between the wall and a top wall (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a retractable key device.
