Abstract

1. A device for feeding fasteners held in a magazine strip (18) to an application tool (1), it being possible to move the magazine strip (18) further before or after each application procedure, and a feed pawl being provided which engages in the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) and which is releasable after each application prodedure and can be applied again, and a driving wheel (20) being provided which engages in the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) and which can be operatively connected to the latter, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) can be connected to the rotary drive of the application tool either directly or indirectly by way of a friction clutch (24, 25, 26) arranged in a screwer shaft (3), and a feed pawl which is constructed as a pivotably mounted lever (29) held resiliently in the locking position and which as a stop for engagement dogs (31) projecting on the magazine strip engages in the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) and is caused to swing out by the screwer shaft (3).
