Abstract

A method for preparing autologous human blood cytokines comprises: (a) treating whole blood from a donor to separate a preparation comprising white blood cells, plasma and an antigen especially tumour cells from erythrocytes; (b) dividing the preparation into first and second aliquots; (c) demasking the cells in the first aliquot rendering the tumour cells recognisable as foreign by the donor's immune system; and (d) incubating the first aliquot with the second aliquot. Also claimed is a cytokine-containing product obtained by the above method.
