Abstract

1. Process for the preparation of watering water for household or hobby gardeners, in which the watering water is impregnated with CO2 and fertilizer is dissolved in the impregnated water, characterized in that the water is taken from a normal mains supply pipe at the pressure and the temperature of the pipe and is first conveyed into a control zone in which, by means of the present pressure of the water flowing in, a closing and pressure regulating valve of a CO2 pressure gas source is adjusted, and in that the water is conveyed from the control zone to the entrance end of an impregnation zone which is in the form of an elongated, straight, flow route and in which at least two shoulder-like cross-sectional widenings of the flow route, which widenings are at a distance from each other, the pressure of the water is abruptly lowered and the areas of the water-flow from lowered pressure to the drawing in of CO2 gas into the water stream are brought into contact with a distribution zone via thin, open bores corresponding to the width of the shoulder and being situated in the cross-sectional plane connecting to the annular shoulder, into which distribution zone is conveyed the CO2 gas with the gas pressure controlled by the water inlet pressure, and in that the water is brought into contact with the liquid or solid fertilizers directly after the contact areas with the CO2 distribution zone.
