Abstract
The water heater has a supply line which is connected with a resistance heating unit. A connecting line (15a) of the unit is connected with the supply line by a semiconductor control unit having an integrated voltage zero crossing detecting circuit, and another connecting line (16a) of the heating unit is connected with the supply line by a semiconductor control unit without integrated zero crossing detecting circuit.
