Abstract

The separating device (10) separates two superimposed films (12, 14) and has a top tool (18) and an opposite bottom tool (20). Both these are in the form of a pivoted fork (22, 26). Grip plates (24, 28) are provided. These have planar support areas and asymmetrical cutting edges. There are recesses in the region behind the cutting edges at the free ends of the forks.
